Nice one! It's got the makings of a very good meet already! Be awesome if your mate brings his DTM Simon, a very rare car that!

Awesome John!

Any reccomendations for a start time? If we were wanting to do Hartside pass then as Jamie said its best to make it earlier. For just general Lakes driving then anytime is pretty reasonable...

Colin, were taking the wife's for the weekend so we have booked rooms near Ambleside on the Saturday night so will be nearby, that is if Wuls and I don't drink the place dry

Cheers
John

Now that sounds like a proper plan John! Will you be coming to the main start point at Penrith? There's a possibility you may end up driving the same roads twice in one day lol.

So I have been round today and I have a provisional route sorted, it's about 85 miles in a loop, but some of it is pretty slow paced, due to the narrowness of the Honnister pass, my average speed was maybe 20mph or less!!

So if everyone is ok with making this more of a Lake District cruise, then it's fine, I can promise you the views are absolutely unreal!

I've uploaded loads of pics to whet your appetite
