Nope. Neither has @M4 UAV

Don't need them, but will make even more power with them...

Ive got standard exhaust and standard downpipes. Stage 2+. Discussing this with Alex and from the dyno figures etc, he reckons theres more to come if I wanted to push the engine, but I don't. In all honesty, I reckon any more power and it would be less fun on the roads to drive.

I'm tempted to put some downpipes on but like you said I don't think my car needs any more power. I just want to change the tone of the exhaust and have it a bit more deeper. On the other hand I'm not sure how much it would cost to keep installing and removing the downpipes when I take it for a service!

Exactly. Right PITA.
Have you considered the exhaust mod done by Paul?
I think there's a review somewhere.
£300 meant to sound awesome.
I've been considering it for a while, but to be perfectly honest, I'm happy with how mine sounds.
Paul's conversation retains the main CATS. 2nd set can also be retained & still apparently better sound.

Im the same! Its more than enough, and on these roads too! Exhaust note definately improved and with the burbles keeps me satisfied!

Considered tinkering with exhaust but i think the best bang for buck has been the tune.

What are the key differences between the JB4 alternatives and the Alpine tune? Someone mentioned Performance centre in Sunderland for remaps as I understand they can offer both JB4 and OBD

I like the exhaust mod done by Paul but unsure whether to have that done or get the mpe fitted.
Only downside to the exhaust mod is that it's not reversible!
And at least the mpe has some resale value!

Brill!!! Amazing how the aural experience has changed to make the car even more entertaining to drive. Ive got a standard (non comp) exhaust so no real pops, just the cool burbles.

Regular Dry tarmac only around the corner now

Mmm, do you not fancy a Comp Pack full system?
Nice deep sounds & plenty of pops...

Make me an offer!

Fitting (cheap) also available at my local BMW dealership

Lol, tell me about it!
I promised myself I was done. But seriously want downpipes now!
Keeping the secondary cats in place should be enough for MOT & emissions.
