2018 M3 Harmon Kardon Speakers and Woofers
Hi there, Selling the complete speaker and underseat woofer set from a 2018 M3 Competition with Harmon Kardon package. The speakers are all in mint condition with the exception of 1, where the cone was slightly dented during removal. Shouldn't have any impact on sound. Looking for $450 OBO, picked up in Bayside, Queens, NY 11364 Speakers used for less than 3000 miles and was replaced with Bavsound and Bimmertech units. Honestly, don't notice much of a difference between the original and the upgrades Thanks, Ray |

I upgraded to Bimmertech Alpha one but in honesty I hear only a slight difference so I recommend keeping Harmon Kardon if you were planning on just upgrading speakers. I have bavsound subs with Bimmertech speakers and don't notice much of a difference

No I didn't change the Harmon kardon amp as I heard it could cause issues if you brought the car in for service and it required a significant computer update.
However I did get the Musicar NW Level 2 amp with JL Audio sub which I believe made the biggest difference in sound. This basically powers the underwear subs and a sub in the trunk. Well worth the upgrade in my opinion |

I installed it myself and it's quite easy. Maybe a 2 to 3 hr install the first time if you take your time I didn't think the full level 3 was needed as I already had upgraded speakers and mid bass. It sounds good enough to me |

Hey Bro. I think you answered my question. Ive been doing a ton a research on what the best upgrade for the price for my M4 and reading your post i think i found the answer i was looking for. I needed An honest opinion on what these expensive ass systems were charging for Bavsound and the Alpha One and if it was worth the 4Grand price tag. I listen to mostly HipHop and Based on what you said that the speaker upgrade is not that much of an uopgrade as i was suspecting (although people all over are bragging of how much of an uograde it really is). Im like you, i think im gonna get the musicar Bass Upgrade and keep everything else stock. My question is does it make the whole system louder or just the bass?? Thx |

The Musicar makes the whole system louder and much better and it's not just the bass. Another option is the Integral Audio system which also seems good for the same price range. I do like how the Integral audio sub is on the left side and appears to have a better mounting set up then the Musicar sub which blocks the battery and cannot be removed unless you remove the sub itself.
