Eventuri Carbon Fibre Charge Pipes S55 F80 M3 F82 M4 F87 M2C
Eventuri S55 CARBON CHARGEPIPES Introducing Eventuri's Raw Carbon Fiber S55 Chargepipes. Eventuri have invested months of intense R&D in development and testing to bring you OEM replacement chargepipes which leave no room for compromise. FITMENT- FLOW QUALITY – STRENGTH are the 3 main design criteria which were sought to be met. 1) FITMENT : A common issue with a lot aftermarket chargepipes is the poor fitment due to the nature in which they are made using bent metal tubes. Clearances with the engine cover and other aftermarket intake systems can be an issue. Our solution with using carbon fiber allows us to use complex geometry in order to provide and OEM-like fitment whilst retaining optimum flow. 2) FLOW QUALITY : The design uses smooth curve transitions from the turbo outlets to the charge-cooler. In addition they also increased the internal volume as compared to the OEM version to allow the turbos to work with less restriction. Importantly the machined flange attachment to the turbo outlet maintains a constant diameter to the chargepipes without and exposed edges which could cause turbulence. This is an improvement over most aftermarket metal chargepipes which often have welds between the flange and the tubes. 3) STRENGTH : The final criteria was to increase the structural strength of the chargepipes over the OEM versions. It is becoming increasingly common for the OEM chargepipes to fail especially with tuned cars running higher boost levels. By using a cross-directional carbon weave layup with multiple layers to form a 2mm wall thickness, our chargepipes provide an incredibly strong solution for reliable operation even with larger turbos. Furthermore they have embedded CNC machined stainless steel rings into the openings where the clamps are tightened to ensure the pipes maintain their shape even under high clamping forces. In order to increase the structural reliability of the carbon chargepipes they have not added methanol ports into them. Instead Eventuri are developing a separate J-pipe which will incorporate multiple methanol ports. r Please contact your preferred vendor/forum sponsor for pricing and pre-orders. |

Looks fantastic! Can't wait to snag a set. Knowing Eventuri, these will be high quality and probably fit perfectly too. Imran, how much more increase % in flow should one expect with these charge pipes in comparison to stock?

Not to distract from a nice piece of kit but any reason why the lower aluminium coupler wasn't integrated into the fabrication?
Removing the lower silicone coupler removes one less point for potential leaks.

Installed the charge pipes this past weekend.
My initial impressions are positive. Fitment is on point. The silicone hoses are extremely snug. I used quick drying silicone lube on my finger tips to help slip the pipes into fittings. I plan on changing the hose clamps with stainless steel T-bolt style clamps to remove the unsightly pigtails left by the clamps included once tightened. It's clear that once you have all this carbon under the hood, changing the engine cover to carbon is required - that is on the to-do list. Overall an easy mod, with major aesthetic and functional value. Here is a short vid from my IG.

That...I did not know. Geez, thats some crazy supply constraints. The wait is worth it - definitely completes the aesthetic look of the engine bay and reduces heat conductivity unlike the aluminum, steel and Titanium counterparts.

Imran@Evolve Any word on the J-Pipe and if this will be carbon as well?
iceweasel Did yours come with a spacer to lift up the rear of the engine cover. All the photo's online don't show this but the instructions show a spacer included to aid with clearence.

iceweasel If you say it fits well and the cover clears the pipes and the hood I'm happy. Don't need pics. Thx!
