Did 135 at the track. Years ago, I had a E60 M5. I did 156 on a highway in that. I had visions of getting arrested or killed after that.

Not at all. Only braking at that speed felt shady but likewise on the Z06. Only the R8 feels kind of planted through both.

Raced an Audi R8 V10 on an empty stretch of highway - I hit 173mph before I shut down. I was at least 1 bus ahead.

Fastest Ive been in a car is 177mph, in a stock E90 M3 years ago.

Strangely it’s tied between a fox body and s1000RR. GPS on the mustang run showed 178 and the bike speedo stated right around the same, but no gps verification. I’ll top it soon enough.

how did the e90 feel at that speed I used to have one awhile back but I got rid of it because honestly the front end felt so heavy compared to the other ms I've owned. Also I only took that car up to 120ish

biggest surprise was probably the ferrari. above 120 the acceleration still feels pretty potent. Probably due to the sleek body, no wing and lack of aero. M3 is very quick too... big power, good gearing, and lack of downforce. GTR was at 600whp but due to the short gearing and just how large it is... it feels like it starts letting up past 140.

once upon a time I used to own a Ferrari 612 and I took that up to 150. and those v12s feel so punchy still even at 150 plus.

It sure felt like took forever to get there after 165. It was on an E30 tune, when I was on E85 it never would have made it that high.

Car is a 6MT and this attempt was in 6th, still had about 1500 rpms left. It would have done 200 but I was already absolutely shitting my pants. 5th gear topped out about 170ish. I sold it a few days after that, I don't need to be doing that kind of thing 🙃
