M4 Competition Exhaust Tips ?
I'm looking at this 2018 M4C for sale and I thought the exhaust tips were supposed to be black. Any ideas why this one is silver ?

That are supposed to be black.
Doesn't look to be an aftermarket exhaust. Maybe ZCP wheels on a regular M4? Does it have comp seatbelts?

Cutout seats are probably the easiest way to tell.

I'm planning on going to the dealer this weekend and checking out the car in person. I'll have to see what the dealer will do about it if anything.

You may should consider that some ppl like chrome tips more than the comp black ones.
Lets hear what the dealer had said.

Given the fact it has Mperf Spoiler and Diffuser - the previous owner probably had Mperf exhaust on it.

Just got back from the dealer. They said it is the Competition exhaust but the original owner most likely opted for silver tips instead of black. I'm assuming the first owner probably did that to match the silver 666m wheels.
The exhaust sounded great when I test drove it. I'm used to my F30 335 w/ Remus quads.

A few people in this thread over on m3Cutters claimed to have cut open the comp pack exhausts and found the internals to be identical to the standard https://forums.m3cutters.co.uk/threa...andard.151630/ As for why it's a different part number at all... Maybe just due to the exhaust tips it comes with. |

I am willing to bet that the only differences are the tip color, less internal baffling material to change the sound (fiberglass material) and the over run tuning.
Here is where they cut open the stocker & the MPE https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1510212 |
