I have the v1 because I didnt like the shape of the v2.
However, when my hands are getting sweaty, i find that i have no where to put my hands on the steering wheel because alcantara will absorb all the sweat.
Therefore i guess v2 might be better for me since i can put my hands on the leather area when they are sweaty, and when my hands are clean and dry i can enjoy the alcantara feel and grip.

V2. The beefier grip and different contours feel great. I also like the flat bottom for when I want to get lazy while cruising and just put one hand there.

Does either the V1 or V2 maintain heated steering wheel?

Are the alcantara inserts on the V2 thicker than the V1?

V2. Amazing. Love the shape and also the ergonomics of the wheel. The V1 is constant all around, while the V2 was designed so well that your hands naturally rest on it in the different positions. Very well thought out.
