M4 front bumper respray - recommendations
Greetings,
I need to get my M4's front bumper resprayed or retouched to remove some ugly scrape marks (on the underside). Grateful for any recommendations on a good shop in the VA/DC/MD area. Many thanks in advance! |

D&V Masters. High quality work but not the cheapest.

+1, that's who I have used in the past for previously owned cars. They do a great job.

Many thanks - how much do you think a full bumper respray would cost? I've been quoted 1,200 - 1,400 from other shops, which seems a bit steep to me.

I was quoted $900 to paint and fit a hood at D&V Masters. Not sure how much a bumper would cost and whether it's more or less labor (hood vs a bumper). They would want to blend it and that would up the cost.

D&V will be on the higher end of the spectrum. I actually lived in Arlington before moving back to NYC. I went to T&J Auto Body next to Northside Social and they did what looked to be a great color match job for the bumper and front lip on my S2000. The paint ended up peeling right off on the lip as they didn't prep it before painting - I should've gone to D&V who quoted the work about 50% more but it wouldn't been done correctly.
