proTUNING Freaks | bootmod3 S55 M3 M4 | Stage 1 & 2 Comparisons

World's first custom mobile flash tuning platform for the BMW F series. Developed and tested in-house from the ground up over the course of almost 2 years with more features being added regularly makes the bootmod3 platform a custom BMW factory DME tuning solution like no other on the market today.
Build the ultimate tune for your S55 powered vehicle and go from stock to full race calibration, and everywhere in between, with a map switch in the provided mobile app. bootmod3 calibrates the factory vehicle modules over the OBD port in a matter of minutes in the convenience of your driveway or anywhere internet access is available.

bootmod3 app and cloud services offer many unique features not found in any other flash tune including and currently available:

1. Mobile app (iOS and Android) and Web (http://www.bootmod3.net)
2. One OTS map/tune included with the purchase
3. Datalogging over 200 diagnostic channels, up to 40 channels concurrently
4. Datalog sharing and charting without a need to upload to 3rd party websites or apps using the mobile app or web browser
5. DCT TCU (transmission) flash for maximized clutch clamping force extending life on stock and upgraded DCT clutch packs
5. Cloud based storage for map data and datalogs
6. Reverting back to stock performance map
7. Live Dash - realtime vehicle parameter monitoring via in-app guages
8. GTS TCU Flash for DCT vehicles
9. Diagnostics
10. Read and clear trouble codes in all vehicle modules
11. Reset learned adaptations (octane, knock, Valvetronic, etc)
12. ECU power reset
13. (Optional) Off the shelf (OTS) tunes for 91/93/Race gas/E85 octane at $100 per map
14. (Optional) Custom tuning for non-standard vehicle hardware and alternative fuels such as E85 and race gas
15. Customization of an existing OTS map $300 per map
16. Prior OTS map purchase required

Some of the map features provided:

- Top speed (VMAX) limiter removal
- Higher rev limiter
- GTS Startup Roar
- Cold start cat heat cycle removed (for off-road use)
- Cat efficiency check removed (for off-road use)
- Exhaust valve control and overrun (burble)
- Maps for upgraded Stage 1 and Stage 2 turbos
- E85/blend, race gas and meth injection tuning
- Custom Throttle mapping
- Backend Flash maps for use with piggybacks such as the JB4

bootmod3 Stage 1 OTS map testing - 93 octane, dyno - 100+whp/wtq over stock baseline

The car is a non-ZCP, stock hardware outside of K&N drop in filters. The car is also still on stock spark plugs with 47k km (~30k miles) on the odometer.

Thumbs up bootmod3 Stage 2 OTS map finalized - 93 octane, dyno

Decat downpipes and retuned. Only mods on the car are K&N drop-in panel filters and decat downpipes.

Dyno Overlay Stock vs OTS Stage 1 vs OTS Stage 2 93

I figured I would add something onto here to help people who were comparing them.

50hp on a stage 2?

Was the car a comp pack or civic?

I'm sure a lot of that has to do with 91 CA gas. I'm wondering if there are better gains to be had on a ACN map.

Every car responds different, we've seen as high as 500 whp for the OTS Stage 2 on our low reading Dyna Pack

Hi how are you all. Sorry for a dumb question. Can I get bootmod3 only for the burble tune. I don't care for added horsepower

yes you can, you jus select one of the OTS tunes, then customize the burble to how long you want it to last, and aggressiveness .
