And if you check out this TÜV approval document for BBS wheels (needed to legally have non standard wheels and tires in many EU countries) you will see that under the heading "Befestigungsmittel", there are 6 alternatives, both M12 and M14 for the same wheel (depending on which car it's to be fitted on).

So at least on those BBS rims it's possible to fit both M12 and M14 bolts
