Yes, better eyesight, that must be it, OR......

(1) Knowing what an F30 335i Tach looks like would help, P.S. they are about identical in the photos
(2) Knowing that, since 2007, the 335i has had a 7000rpm redline would help, P.S. the F80's engine is rumored to have been based on the 335i's N55..
