Came to ~$530 shipped. Paid last week, was shipped on Friday and delivered on Tuesday via DHL. Feels great, slightly thicker than stock, weave looks good, alcantara and stitching look and feel good too. Install took about an hour, pretty straightforward. Waiting for CF paddle shifters to complete the look, those should be in whenever USPS gets their shit together. Overall super happy with the steering wheel, let’s see how it holds up over time. |

Correct, there’s no heating element in this one. It isn’t a big deal to me- I had a heated wheel in my previous M3 and had it in the M4, I completely forgot I even had it for like a year lol. I used it a few times over the course of ~3 years.

At least it's a great looking steering wheel. 👍
I will say the OEM M4 heated wheel didn't feel as warm as my trucks steering wheel, but I'll have to compare a little more to be confident. Does anyone know if the temperature is something that can be adjusted through coding via a change in modulation it is it just a 12v power on/off thing? I thought I saw something about being able to modify the temperature of the seats. |

Not really a F8X specific ebay part, but the uniden R3 radar is on sale at the moment for $260 via amazon. Solid price for a great radar. Picked up one to replace my 10+ year old beltronics rx65.

This is fake CF? How does it match the oem cf that’s in the car? Does it have that 3D look?

I used it on a 3000 mile road trip in October. It saved me numerous times. KA band get picked up a few miles away. I just wish there were arrows on the R3. I'm always guessing where the radar is coming from.

Yeah they’re definitely not real CF for $30 lol. As Dang3r said, you do see the grey come through on these, unlike the OEM CF. For $30, I’m not complaining, but I may try and wrap them to get a closer to OEM look.

If I dont miss my own reminder, I'll toss you a pic taken from a piece of 6D wrap with the OEM CF into the back, then you could decide for yourself which wrap to get.
My door handles are stock leathered and thats the only reason which prevents me from wrapping them. Maybe I get some pure plastic ones to substitute them some day but thats very down low onto my bucket list.

Here goes, Performance Cap on the right, 6D wrap on the left.
Judge for yourself how close that comes to reality.

Yeah, best thing is to see the wrap personal before ordering. For best effects I wouldnt buy less than 4D, for me the 6D has the most and realistic depth tones and for sure it was from Amazon
Structured wrap like Dinoc CA-421 are only when you do your whole interior with that.

Just finished wrapping them, man the 6D stuff looks great. The one I bought from Amazon is also much easier to work with than the Vvivid stuff.
Here's the 6D wrapped one (bottom) vs. the Amazon handles 6D (bottom) vs. Vvivid's 3D: Another shot of the 6D: For anyone interested, here's the vinyl I bought: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 |
