I fully understand why they do it ($$$$), and I don't fault them one bit for it.. But those videos are really obnoxious to me, too.
Best way to avoid them is to filter your search results for short videos <4 minutes. That eliminates the vlog BS and gives you the pure sound videos you want when looking for exhaust clips, etc.
