Of course many can do it "for you" and you need to pay at least 200 to get it. In this case its just another part of bootmod3 and its all bundled in.

I have to tell you, this is by far my most favorite mod. It has transformed the car completely. The trans is ridiculously fast now and not a hint of slip when running north of 500 whp/lbft. Working on a full review of BootMod3 and all its fixings. I have been a devout JB4 guy for a long time, needless to say, I am no longer. BM3, plain and simple, is an absolute gamer changer in the BMW turbo scene.

I have no experience with Boot products, but the 1st half of your post that explains the benefits of the GTS DCT tune can be done by many people and companies. They are just tapping into the stock profile that is already there.

Hex I think have their own "personalized" DCT tune, but I think the rest are just tapping into the GTS stock file.

I'll be getting mine done here soon , along with Euro MDM, once I get my Ohlin coilovers on.

The GTS TCU tune certainly can be done by anyone. The bootmod3 feature rich platform that combines custom flash tuning, logging, TCU tuning, code clearing, dash guages, in an at home flashing package is the game changer.

Agreed in principle, but then again I think you are in the closed beta, right ? so you probably have access to that "plug and play" type of features, while the rest of us either pay or roll up their sleeves and DIY as we wait for the eventual release of that amazing platform ...

Some of us do enjoy getting their hands dirty in all aspects of this amazing machine ! and nothing in life is wasted on learning new things

I think I'll be going with Alex when I'm ready. Can't believe some are charging almost a grand for it.

At least I've never seen PTF beat around the bush and spin marketing about stuff like this. I'm sure some vendors must be hating the truth coming out from all this testing and tuning and I for one certainly appreciate the honesty and transparency.
