Front "skidplate" protection for MP splitter

I just got my "skidplate" mounted under the M performance splitter. We'll see how that works with protecting the carbon fiber splitter.

Very clean. Looks great! You constructed that yourself out of aluminum correct? Seem to remember someone mentioning doing that...

How'd you attach it?

Thanks! It's made of the same type of plastic as a cutting board. 5mm thick. It is mounted with the same type of compound that you use on older cars when you put in the windows. I can't remember what it's called, i'm from Sweden .
It is also screwed into Place in the M perf. splitter and mounting Points on the sides.

cant tell from the pictures, but your M-Performance lower lip is in CF?

personally, i dont have any protection on my M-Perf lip (painted non-CF version) and i just run over everything no fucks given. the underside is completely messed up, but this damn thing can take a bloody beating. its extremely robust.

but yes, if it’s carbon fiber i’d do everything to protect it.

It looks good, looking forward to hearing the feedback on the skid plate. A question for you on ride height. Any chance you can measure how many Millimeters from bottom of bumper to the skid plate?

Using this on my M Perf lip. Nice product and a good price. Easy to install.

...but doesn't help with the parking blocks. ;-)

Ok, now i have had the skidplate on for about Three weeks and it works perfect. No issues. I have about 95mm clearance to the ground.
