How do you even have time to wash it every 3 days? I barely find time every 2 weeks.

I do a light wash every other weekend. I live in the middle of San Francisco with no hose outside so I do a waterless wash in my garage every 2 weeks and then have it done professionally about every month or every other month when she needs it. I'm amazed how well the waterless wash actually holds up but then again she's not a DD and is out of the elements most of the time.

I use it as a dd... bought Chemical guys stuff which makes carwash much faster. I wash it every 3days during summer, maybe once a week during winter

If you take it through an automated wash it's nice and quick. I know, blasphemy. But I would rather have a clean car all the time with a few swirls than a dirty car a good portion of the time with no swirls since you can't see them unless you look really close. I have a monthly unlimited package at one that is about 2 minutes from my house.

About every 3-4 days. It's an extension of my personal hygiene. You wouldn't go out in public with a dirty shirt now would you?

I used to wash every week, but work takes a toll and sometimes I go a month without washing my car. The interior stays spotless though. I'm going to try to keep up on my newest M4 a little better.

Wow some of you are either kinda of crazy or live in really bad climates. I'll wash once a week because I enjoy it and want the car to always look good. How dirty can it really get in 3-4 days (unless there's rain or snow)?

Interior gets a full detail every 2-3 months.

I'm not washing it that often UNLESS there is bad weather or it starts to show some dirt. But having an unlimited wash package at the car wash 2min from my house makes it pretty easy to swing through.

Crazy! There is no way a white color car, or any color will with stand 6 months of driving without looking dirty, then again, maybe some people just like to ride it dirty.

I wish I could wash my car twice a week like some of the guys here. I used to wash once a week, then it became every other. After child #2, making it two kids under the age of 3, I barely have time to do anything else.

Really considering clear ppf on the M4 I'll be taking delivery on in a few months. Hose off, air dry, spray wax, call it a day. Forget about paint correcting, polishing, and wax'ing twice a year like I normally did. Kids suck the life out of you...but I sure do love them and wouldn't want to live without them! But damnit I miss keeping my car purty...

For me, it's the wheels that are a nightmare. Now I'm wishing I bought the Carbon Ceramic wheels. The brake dust generated by the standard brakes is horrendous. I'm usually taking all the wheels off once a week to clean the wheels and calipers. Between those periods, I'm rubbing them clean with "No Rinse" waterless car wash. Another product I recently started using is Griots Heavy Duty Wheel Cleaner... that stuff is amazing.

Ive tried all manner of waxes and protectants... even armor all makes a brake dust repellant, but it doesn't work very well. I've also used "Liquid Glass"

I've found nothing so far though that can keep the obscene brake dust off the wheels for even a few days. They start misting over after a single drive, which is really frustrating.

You take the wheels all the way off once a week just to clean them???

I think you win this thread.

Yikes thats nuts!! If you have the right brushes and cleaners you don't have to remove the wheels and tires to get them and the calipers cleaned. I can get my wheels and calipers cleaned in about 3 minutes per wheel and I have the pain in the ass 666 Satan wheels!

I like everything clean as new, face and barrel... and there's not enough clearance for my hand to easy reach around the barrel of the whole wheel, particularly when it's mounted on the car. I can accomodate this a little by jacking up the car and rotating the front wheels, but that doens't help at all with the rears. yes there are brushes that can reach... I have lots of them, heh... but then the problem becomes when you rinse off the wheels, now your rotors go into severe rust film mode, and the moment you drive, all the shaved rust gets planted on your barrel, along with the next coating of brake dust. SO taking off the wheel is the only way for me to clean it without getting the rotor wet and dealing with the rust that creates.
