Interesting...I am taking delivery of my M4 tomorrow or Tuesday and I am having them hold off the Dinan Stage 1 installation so I could feel and appreciate the difference once installed.

Don't even bother. I wish I would have left her alone. She's got enough as it is, more than enough.

Either go downpipe and tune or stay stock baby!

She's got enough power to lose traction at WOT at 3000 rpms in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear.

At this point I couldn't agree more. The power throughout is unbelievable, although I am not hitting anywhere near 7K RPM - I have only been ~85% or so to WOT and shifting at 4-5K rpm at this point (when I am getting into it). Doesn't seem to need the extra power, so I will hold off for now. I did already pay for it, so we'll see what I think in March/April.

Unrelated, but thought I'd put in my 2 cents to anyone reading...one thing I hear all around this forum & in reviews is the complaining about the engine / exhaust sound (or lack there of). Couldn't disagree more. M4 has an amazing sound to it IMO.

A wonderful journey

It has been great. Owning an M4 has been the highlight of my automobillic life. Alas, that journey has come to an end. Due to reasons that cannot be explained publicly my M4 will be gone before the end of this week. My fascination with M vehicles make this a very temporary separation. Some day my garage will contain another M vehicle. We don't know when or what but it's an absolute guarantee.

This concludes this journal, I'll be deleting the thread later on in the week, thus allowing all my friends to say goodbye.
