Nachbar, PM me of any M events. I love about three hours away in Bayern. I haven't done much in Zurich and I need to get more familiar.

I may or may not have been swayed to wait for the 16 instead of taking a deal on a 15 by the improved ambient lighting... I'm telling you, huge sucker right here.

Does any one have a pic of the pre-LCI screen so we can compare the hardware changes?

Silver rims around vents look great. I think they'll especially look great with CF Trim.

Totally agree. I just didn't want CF cause of the black leather, thought it might be to dark all together.

Sweeet! Thanks for the video!! The LCI has some nice modern touches! Especially like the option for the ambient lighting to be white. They call it "Sport" on the F8x but on the wife's i3 they call it modern. We use that over the orange and it does feel more modern hahaha. One question, the ambient light strips on the doors are also on the rear doors too I'm guessing?

At the 42 sec mark there is a small light bar on the trunk section under the M3 emblem that lights up. Never seen that before. It seems like its independent of the brake, blinkers, and night lights. Wonder what it is for?

1. Love the orange hazards / turn signals!
2. Interesting that the twin tubes that are new on each side look orange... is this a different color than the 2015? (in addition to a different shape/style)
3. The brief interior shot in daytime looked like aluminum blade trim... but saw a lack of any new chrome trim around the air vents.... guessing this is missing only because of the aluminum blade trim option... ?
4. Nice optional interior ambient colors!
5. Thanks for the effort to take & post the video!

For your #3, the chrome trim is there but it is a bit darker I think they call it black chrome. You can see it within his Aluminum blade trim here:

Also it seems Nav has no exterior differences, just internal which still feels like the same speed as the current gen 2015 navs....

Ambient lighting looks cool!

It'd be interesting to see the startup from the car being off. The 2015's are really quite slow to get Nav going from car off.
