I tried to lease an E92 M3 right when they came out and because of standard MF, no discount and marginal residual, it was actually about the same price as leasing an M5 at the time. I recall the 36 or 48 month lease being around $1100, which didn't work for me, so I ended up holding off.
Only time will tell, but based on historical experience, the lease rates will be quite poor right out of the gate, give it 6 months or so and things will start to improve. |

My understanding is those numbers are crowdsourced. Based on the .004 MF - 9.6% - I'd say there's no way that RV is accurate. I used to look at that site often, but since the guy's leasing info source got the kibosh, it's hard to put faith in the figures.

I don't see the M3 being under 1,000 a month when it first gets rolled out. Unless you are going base model with nothing on it and I even think that is stretching it.

I don't see it being less than 1K at lest for 1st year. However if u do ED with base car, than it may be possible.

BMW can do what they want with the residuals so if sales are slowing down they'll just bump the residuals and lower the MF to make more attractive lease deals. This happens on alot of luxury cars.

Most leases in Cali for the E9x M3 were around $1,500 drive off and $925/mo including tax/license depending on the options on the car for 10,000 miles/yr. .

>$1k is Porsche money. I can pick up a sweet low mileage 997.1 Turbo and drive it for a year for much cheaper than $1000 a month. And I am looking into doing exactly that until lease rates fall back to reality. |

Just for reference, my last M3 which I got in 2010 brand new was a $825 payment tax included, the car was fully loaded with every option and I put "zero" down. When I say zero, I mean zero.
There are 2 options for a more affordable payment which is the "BMW" select program. It's actually more affordable than the lease. The catch is the balloon payment at the end but I never keep a car past 3 years anyway. That's what I did with the last 2 cars, my M3 coupe and the current 335i vert. As long as the cars keep their value and are desirable in a strong economy it's a good deal. Just don't keep the car past the 4 years... |

Not without a ton of money down and a stripper car. BMWFS offers terrible leases on first year M cars. It isn't until year 3 or so that the leases start to get better. My lease payment on my 2013 is $200 less than my similarly equipped 2011 M3 I sold. Same money out of pocket.
