It might also look good with the AY grills

I think it would look good but, IMO, makes the grilles look too small. In person, the black "gap" isn't really something that stands out. I find the front really flows and looks much more aggressive now

You are probably right (I haven't seen it in person and you have), but body color may also be a viable option.

Yours looks great!!

I haven't decided about black or body color for my SO M4, but the chrome has to go. BMW should have done this as standard distinction from F3x.

As much as I want to choose a more bland color..I just can't.

I'm in love with Austin Yellow.

I feel as if I need to join an AY support group

Here's an uplifting article.

You already did. I'm going AY after 15 years of silver, black, and white M3s and SUVs. I needed a little color and just kept getting pulled to AY. I'll see mine in person in 10 days.

The article was very interesting. The market may not be large, but supply of yellow cars will remain lower than demand apparently. Plus, you can always lease.

+1, my concern too ...

I was wondering what it might look like if the outside of the grille hoop was body color but the face and inside was gloss black. That might eliminate the gap from the side view but keep the black look from the front front.

For me, all body color doesn't work. Maybe someone could photoshop one up so we can see if want to pay IND for them?

That YMB coupe makes a strong case for body color. I haven't decided which way I'll go with my AY sedan, but I'm leaning toward body color

I meant that people might expect that AY will be not so flashy in flesh. According to BMW wallpapers/images (made professionally), color looks less flashy and more natural. However, in reality AY looks super flashy and glossy, especially in sunny days.

[F82/F83] Official AUSTIN YELLOW M4 Coupe/Convertible Thread

I had the chance to visit Versus Performance and test the Car at the Nürburgring "Green Hell".
I was really impressed!
The car looks great(see for yourself) and the modifications are just stunning awesome: KW Clubsport, BBS Racing Rims and an enormous HP of 551HP winth 660Nm!
Not to mention the sound of the Akrapovic exhaust system.
The Rollbar gives it even more stability and its finish is really good!

I 100% agree! Very gold, not green at all.

I lowered mine on H&R springs last night. Also did dvd in motion, and soft close windows/mirrors coding and turned off active sound. Sorry for the miserable camera phone pic.

I have one, the color changes a lot based on ambient like. In the shadows, it definitely has a green tint. It looks great, but is green. It also looks very yellow in other lifting conditions.
