Opinions needed: OK to purchased used M Performance HAS?
Looking at a used M Performance HAS for my next project. I'm unable to determine condition other than a few pics and supposedly has 30K miles on it. Just wanted to get a sense whether or not it's worth it.

As long as the collars and adjustment rings (including the adjustment screw) aren't seized, I don't see why not. the springs themselves will most likely outlast the car. don't forget to make sure bumpstops are included and maybe get yourself a new hardware kit for good measure.

Replacement bolts, gaskets, etc. some of the bolts are one time torque so it's recommended to replace instead of reuse. you can get the entire hardware kit from a vendor here (getbmwparts) for $60-70.
