Time is more important then money, money can always be re made but time cannot be re gained. But I doubt they were tryna mislead him or waste he's time. They most likely got misleading info from the manufacturer that was unfortunately passed on in hopes to get him the item he wanted. It's not as if other retailers had it and supreme power was the only ones to not have it. It's a shortage caused on the manufacturers side and it affected all retailers. And I understand the messages probably could've been dealt with a little better but sometimes all it takes is a phone call. If ur time is so important and the item is important to u, a call could be made so there won't be any mix ups and from what I know about the supreme power guys. I'm positive things could've been worked out and explained in detail about the situation they were having with the delays. Just saying u should give them a shot and see what type of service u receive cuz all the help I received was top notch

^^^^ Doesn't that response from Vorsteiner explain that Supreme isn't involved in the lead time of the product? They clearly stated "AGAIN Supreme Power will update you", they're getting run around dates just like you are and simply relaying the message. If there was a falsifying of the dates I think they would address the issue with Supreme, rather than refer you back to them for more OFFICIAL information relayed to them then to you. SMH

The again part is not that they have sent me multiple updates, it is because i messaged him twice on accident at the same time and he already sent me one email saying supreme will update me, not again as in they have updated me multiple times. But yes, they are not providing accurate information but supreme is not being clear either, like i said the same day they said 1 week while vorsteiner said 2-3. If you don't know just don't say anything and tell me we just don't know rather than things like "1 week"

Appreciate everyones feedback, no need to further argue as i have moved forward to another vendor. Just hope this information is taken into account for all vendors so they can better communicate with the customers, thats all that really matters.

If the problem is higher, the manufacturer and their unrealistic timetables, we should not pin this on one vendor. I'd say the guys making them and giving their resale guys bad info are the ones who should be getting the feedback.

Forums like these can easily turn people against a shop that has other great products too. Bad feedback easily does harm to the party who doesn't deserve it. I'm pretty sure the vendors are pissed and taking hits enough.

Op do as I did and look at the vorsteiner wide body kit pics. That cures you from any bitterness and there are many other great choices out now. I couldn't be happier with what I ended up with.

Just for the record, Supreme Power has been nothing but good guys to me and many others. Since i took delivery of my M4 in Feburary, every mod i did has been through Supreme Power. Now everyone's experience is different but i can attest to the dedication this team went through to get my car where it is today.

OP i understand your frustration..believe me. I put my order for this vorsteiner diffuser the 1st day i got my car in February. It is currently (imo) the nicest looking diffuser on the market and fits the style of mods i wanted to do with my m4. i did not take delivery of this diffuser until recently May 8! Evan White (IE92) Put his order for the same diffuser back during christmas of 2014 and did not take delivery until April 2015.

Setting the right expectation is the name of the game when it comes to sales. With that being said, you can only set the expectation only when you can get it from the source. Supreme is a for-profit business and just look at it in their perspective. They do not make a penny if they cant deliver the product to the consumer. They offer a preorder to secure the product for you. There's no reason for them to delay your order. The issue your having is with the market. Supply and demand. I also inquire with PlatformAG and when i first spoke to them, they too said they have it ready only to find out on the invoice they sent me shows 4-6 weeks ETA and a 50% cash deposit. Supreme does not even collect a deposit for their orders and only requires a valid cc on file which they don't even charge.

Vorsteiner is a great manufacture, my previous F10 was all vorsteiner aero. They just need alot of work on PR. i've contacted them via IG many times and directly with peter and never got any response. They blew up and cant handle the workload but they are working on improving and hiring more staff to handle the workload. Keep in mind they also manufacture diffuser for lambos, porsches, ferrari, and mclaren. Their aero package runs in the 5 figures. So when someone lambo owner wants to drop $30,000 on an aero package, which set do you think they will utilize all their resources to make first?

OP just need a bit more patience. Here's a tip, if a company doesn't require a deposit to place an order, why not just put in orders with multiple companies and whoever delivers first earns your business? Just a thought.

You're completely right, setting the right expectation is definitely the name of the game and in this particular case the expectation was not set correctly. Most other vendors do take deposits so there was no reason to put a deposit with another vendor when I was being told I would have it next week from them. Hope u can understand that and where I'm coming from because I can definitely see their side of the story and the issue with vorsteiner. Next time just tell the customer it could take up to 12 weeks instead of next week over and over. Thanks for your input that's why I asked in my original post if I'm being impatient and from most members this time frame seemed extensive but I guess I'm not alone.

OP I hope you get the issue resolved. This has been an ongoing issue with Vorsteiner. I had ordered a diffuser months and months ago and look at now , had to go a different route due to not being in stock. I know its crazy. I do understand were your coming from but patience and willing to work with Vorsteiner is something that you might have to do. There are a few other diffusers on the market that you check out or patiently wait for vorsteiner. The guys at Supreme Power will take care of you. Eric, Tam, Nick, Justin are good guys and will do anything to please the customer. That's why they have my business.

I have to agree on the fact that Supremepower has always helped me and my dad on all of our previous cars.. for many many years. Eric and Tam have always been there when we needed "mods" done and have always delivered the product or products, on time. I have only gone to Supremepower for my aftermarket needs, and have always had an A+ experience with them.

I don't think we are questioning the vendor as a whole but just specifically on this instance. I think a good resolution is that the vendor should change their policy on how they communicate with customers of back ordered items.
I wouldn't want to deal with the supplier directly under any circumstance, that is why I pay the vendor, so that they can deal with the supplier on my behalf. Isn't that the function of the vendor?
I really like Supreme, Eric has given me good personal service but some times I feel like the staff can be short and generally not pleasant. That is true with any vendor.
