Heard good things about BMS intakes. Although, I'm interested to hear other opinions.

Keeping the stock intake while removing the carbon filter pads and replacing the factory paper filters with K&N or equivalent will get you much improved intake sound, probably free up air flow as much as any complete CAI Kit, and will by far be the most cost effective.

I bought the BMS CAI Kit because while it does produce really great noise under the hood, same as above but even louder, but also for the open conical filter appearance, which is just a look I really like in a sports car. It's also very cheap in comparison too the others made out of Carbon Fiber.

Just a fair warning: those pretty blue filters become grey after 1-2 thousand miles.

BMS sounds incredible

Dont be fooled by all this carbon this and carbon that. No one has proved that it makes any difference yet unless you want that bling factor

BMS recently released their intake and lots of guys running it. I installed it on our M3 as well and it definitely produces some amazing sound. Performance wise don't expect much or any gains from an intake.

Despite all of the heavy marketing, aftermarket intakes make no power.

Simply pick which is prettiest.

+1, and for your wallet's sake I hope you like seeing the conical air filters vs. Carbon fiber for days!

removed carbon filters and dropped in BMC filters today. Minimal difference to say the least in sound. A little more noticeable sound in my S65 w/ the AA drop in filter. Maybe I need a little more wheel time.

I wonder when they're going to get the search button up and working again.

Increased boost will definitely make an audible change in an intake system as you are sucking more air.

BMS is the most popular, it sounds great and is priced very reasonably.

Hey kiddos-

Spectre makes the same size filter for the BMS intake pretty cheap if you want to replace dirty ones or try different colors.

I went by O'Reilly's and got these red ones last night. Looks cool!

Sound, looks, performance and budget, need to know your goals before directing you to the right one.

I like the AWE the most, personally.
