M3 comp buying guide

I’ve put a deposit down on a 17 plate M3 comp and going to check it out and confirm purchase on Friday... its my 1st M3 and looking for advice on things I should look out for and check before parting with my hard earned £££

Things i’ve checked
Vin - engine bay, door and windscreen match
Service history - Idrive and BMW receipts

What else to check to ensure its not been in an accident or been ripped around too much before me!!

HPI check for outstanding finance and serious accidents (cat d,s,etc) ?

Regarding hard use, it's an M3. Designed to be used hard. But you could check brake components for signs of hard use. Micro cracked rotor surface, discoloured calipers, hard wear for mileage, etc.
