That LSB on the heritage is incredible. Particularly in person. I love the Imola red from the early 318i's driving around Denmark when I was starting to love cars. The interior of the Heritage Imola is stunning, and outdoes the LSB, but the LSB is just nicer looking than the Imola.

San marino blue over laguna seca blue & I really like LSB btw.
I like LSB on the F80 but, it looks a bit dated, too dark. I think YMB looks much better on the F80 & more modern. Just my 2 cents

I would get a LSB Heritage 6 Spd Manual over a CS ... but I'm a manual only guy. If I wasn't, it wouldn't even be a decision, SMB CS.
I would also pick SMB ZCP > LSB Heritage, BUT it is close, I do like LSB a lot, but SMB is more unique to me.

My concern with LSB is that I've seen a few E46s and the paint has not aged well. At all. And it's quite teal in person so you should definitely look at it live before making a decision. If I'm not mistaken, part of the reason that Miami Blue (I think it's this blue but may be slightly off) is discontinued at Porsche is discoloration. Now, that may be specific to Porsche but I can't disassociate the fact that I see LSB teal tone aging poorly. Again, just speculation. The SMB is a low risk buy sight unseen. Just my 2c. |
