Can't disagree, but which of the 2 will get less attention?? I'm a victim here, can't order a car so I'm picking through the lot.

That LSB on the heritage is incredible. Particularly in person. I love the Imola red from the early 318i's driving around Denmark when I was starting to love cars. The interior of the Heritage Imola is stunning, and outdoes the LSB, but the LSB is just nicer looking than the Imola.

Seriously doubted it, then I saw it. For some strange whatever LSB just fits beautifully on the M4. As far as the Imola, can't do a Red but the interior does happen to work well, good taste!

San marino blue over laguna seca blue & I really like LSB btw.

I like LSB on the F80 but, it looks a bit dated, too dark. I think YMB looks much better on the F80 & more modern.

Just my 2 cents

Geez, we're total opposites That YMB in my opinion is the most washed out looking blue, possibly ever.

The point of this thread, still haven't made a decision. With this epidemic production has stopped hence the difficulty landing the right F82. CS only available in SMB or AW, my last three bimmers have been white, not again. Also, Heritage only comes in 3 loud colors.

So you're choosing between SMB M4 CS vs LSB heritage edition M4?

Unless I leave for a C63s, in BLACK. Don't want to leave as I'll leave incentives on the table, but if I have to....

I would get a LSB Heritage 6 Spd Manual over a CS ... but I'm a manual only guy. If I wasn't, it wouldn't even be a decision, SMB CS.

I would also pick SMB ZCP > LSB Heritage, BUT it is close, I do like LSB a lot, but SMB is more unique to me.

SMB doesn't call that much attention in my experience so far (NorCal). No one has gone out of their way to comment on color. And let's face it, not like the car itself is a GT2 RS.

My concern with LSB is that I've seen a few E46s and the paint has not aged well. At all. And it's quite teal in person so you should definitely look at it live before making a decision. If I'm not mistaken, part of the reason that Miami Blue (I think it's this blue but may be slightly off) is discontinued at Porsche is discoloration. Now, that may be specific to Porsche but I can't disassociate the fact that I see LSB teal tone aging poorly. Again, just speculation. The SMB is a low risk buy sight unseen. Just my 2c.

Actually I've seen it up close in person, better than I imagined. Thanks for the info regarding color fade, although I plan to lease (could change). SMB is my favorite blue in the shade, but the sun seems to electrify. Thanks for the detailed comment...
