pfft, don't you know, you can never have enough power. Like most people would totally use 700+ HP in an EV car.

They have to throw fluff at the M4 because it isn't selling. $100k non-Porsche coupes don't sell. They just don't. This trend started with the F82. The reason the F87 was so successful was because it was a relative steal. The F82 still did decently well because of factors like lease steals, low rates and cheaper prices overall. The G82 is just too damn expensive. The G80 is a smash hit because it's essentially replaced the M5. Why spend $130-150k when you can spend $90-100k. No brainer. The G87 would fill that G82 void, but I think it's finding itself in the too expensive to be cheap and too cheap to be expensive category. That and it's made in Mexico which, despite the fact nobody will admit it, I think is hurting sales. Then, of course, there's the elephant in the room for all of them. See my handle.

The cyber truck in real life looks absolutely ridiculous on the road here.
Like a wedge of Parmigiano Reggiano on wheels. There is really zero design to it.

Been looking for the right Z06 build ever since I sold the 992 GTS back last summer. I’ve wanted a Z06 with the aero kit but not the Z07 package. It’s almost impossible to find, but last week I found one in Kansas City. After three days of negotiations, we arrived at a deal I could stomach. They started at 50k over MSRP and we agreed at 12k over. It sucks to pay it, but I’ll never get an allocation and I love this build. Flew down to KC yesterday morning and drove it back. Crazy that the weather was good enough on Feb 1st to be able to do that! Now I have to run up north for a hockey tournament. Impressions to come if anyone is interested after I get it broke in and really get into it. iPhone picks of first gas stop in West Des Moines and a nutritious lunch!

I saw a few at the auto show. They are as ridiculous looking in person as they are in the pics. That combined with the real-world videos of people getting stuck when "lesser capable" vehicles can do the same task in the same video leads me to believe this may be a huge disappointment, despite the immensely long wait...
It's also interesting timing, as the Model X is gaining some steam as showing to be an extremely capable off roader...

Had to keep it under 4k for break in. Even with that limitation you can tell it is a very fast car. I’d randomly keep downshifting for break in purposes and hit the gas fairly decently up to 4k and even that was fun. Mag ride is awesome as usual, even with crappy highways I could have it in sport and it was still very comfortable. Oddly sounds like a 4 cylinder in tour mode with the valves closed. Start up is crazy sounding and every other mode the car sounds awesome! Interior/seats are comfortable and very well put together. Switchgear etc still isn’t up to German standards, but the interior is vastly superior to any other gen Vette I’ve been in.
Only real complaint so far is the steering wheel. They just can’t get those right like other brands. Not because it is the weird squircle, but because their alcantara sucks and the wheel is too thin with not enough padding. Will be changing that out with an aftermarket one. Truly amazing machine though, can’t wait until warmer weather to really get into it. |

Congrats on the car! I had something happen on my end but I have kind of decided not to pursue it.

I don’t think the LT6 has that, but I’m not for sure, it could be.
