Anyone gone from H&R to KW HAS?

Originally was planning on H&R Super Sports, but was told the HAS is overall better ride quality.

Has anyone gone from the H&R super sports to the HAS and if so, what are your thoughts?

Many of our clients have gone from the H&R's to the KW HAS's. The KW's have a better ride and its nice to be able to adjust the ride height.

ive run both the h&r ss's and sports, and have finally settled on the HAS kit. I wanted to decrease the bounciness from the h&r's, and also needed less drop than either h&r kit for around town. ive had some noise from my HAS kit, but we have minimized it, and I really enjoy how the car feels now.

ok thanks guys for the input. I appreciate it. Seems like HAS is worth the extra few dollars.

Make sure the noise you're hearing isn't a stone caught in brake shield thingy. Lowered cars obviously offer minimal exit for stones compared to stock and the inherent wheel gap.

Thx...my noise was caused by spring bind and we have minimized it now. I had the brake noise a few times also, but since we bent back the shields, it hasn't come back (knock on wood).

How did you minimize the spring binding noise? And how "minimized" is it?

we wrapped the springs with spring isolators...pretty much rubber tubing. id say the noise is down 75% or so...what is there is much lower pitched and quieter now. It's now tolerable enough that I don't want to switch them out as I do like how the HAS performs.

A few have gone from H&R to HAS then to K&W V3, in that order. Do it right the first time or don't touch it at all. The M suspension is superb and it's the last upgrade you should cheap out on.

That. ^^

I'm going from H&R to KW V3s tomorrow am. The HRs were terrible.

I agree with this, but I really wanted to be able to still use my adaptive suspension. I am very interested in the new bilstein coils that will still work with it, but until then I'm going with HAS. Just received them today actually. Glad I chose them as they do seem preferred over the H&R's.
