Very nice. Hopefully, the aftermarket will take the water cooling kit parts and adapt it for other BMWs.

Anyone else notice the AC is manual?
Also, those door straps... w door handles Then it has no mirror speakers but it has a Navi? I think this car would look 20x better if they simply took the ugly orange off the wheels and the lip. I honestly just don't know what some of these people in charge are thinking. |

With all the weight savings, it has full leather for dash and door tops.

Looks and sounds wicked! But it needs more carbon fiber accents exterior and interior. Their is to much chrome bits, would have preferred blacked-out wheels and carbon fiber interior bits instead of plastic chrome.
I love the wheels and would like to see them in black. Otherwise the interior looks great. |

Awesome performance. It is a strange mix of race oriented parts and street luxury parts. I guess it's hard to sell a $100k+ car without Nav these days.
I prefer the BBS FI to the odd orange rims that must clash with some of the interesting F8x colors like YMB.

That's why the GTS doesn't come in any colors - just black, white and two grays.

Also, what everyone doesnt realize is that this car in general isn't offered without it nor so to redesign a dash would make no sense to bmw. The Nav in this series car probably doesn't add much more weight anyway based on the size of all the equipment |

It's not a straight conversion pounds to dollar conversion. We'll see how they price it here.

I LOVE that color, but the orange, imo, just doesn't work. If I ever had the $$$$ to own this beast, first think that would be changed, followed closely by the wheels. I bet this thing is a hoot!

There are no speed limits during the industry pool driving, so this is probably where BMW drove the alleged 7:28 time.

As for the whole under-rated discussion, from what I've seen it's mainly a difference in dyno calibrations between Europe and the US which are significant. The F8x dynos (Europe) I've seen are all within a typical 5% margin that is used to allow for differences in variables.

That's about 168k EUR right now. Or about double the price of a "normal" M3. Hmmm...

Still funny to see signs of speed limit 250km/h. Wish we had those on the highway.

As was posted previously, the straps replace the handles to close the door. The handle is needed to open (unlatch) the door.
This is contrary to what was done on the GT3, where the straps replace the handles that open (unlatch) the door.
