Too much burble for my taste. Is the car fast? How does it stack up against a Mopar, Corvette, Porsche, 600cc bike, etc?

Have you taken it to Mexico to find out?

You can opt to leave burbles out when requesting the tune.
I’d go do some runs in Mexico but it’s too far and.... Covid lol

Lol...I guess maybe I took it to Mexico when I ran my buddy in his 911 Turbo, & yesterday 2 sport bikes from a light? All I have to say is...3rd gear is insane!

For those that flashed, did y'all do it through OBD or did you have to pull the DME and send out? I just confirmed that my i-step is F020-18-07-521 (so, old AF), but it looks like I might be good for flash at home!

Any updates here? Thinking about pulling the trigger now that my factory warranty is about to be up.

Same here. I think I will most likely go with the CarBahn at this point.

"If your vehicle is outside of the vehicle manufacturer’s new car limited warranty, for two (2) years from the original purchase date of the CarBahn Autoworks product, CarBahn Autoworks will repair or replace, at its sole discretion, any defective CarBahn Autoworks component. This warranty does not include reimbursement for repairs to any original vehicle manufacturer component(s) that may have been affected by a CarBahn Autoworks component."

Somebody smarter than me may be able to say for sure, but this reads like they won't cover things like a SCH if you're out of OEM warranty.

Thompson is the only dealer I let work on my '18 F80 Comp Pack too. Had no idea this was even an option though TBH. Been running Stage 2 bootmod3 for awhile. Still being under warranty, I may have entertained this had I known.

I have contacted EAS about this tune. Will be doing before and after dyno runs when I get it done. Will update afterwards.

Both EAS and a local Carbahn dealer would have to pull my DME (would've preferred to go through EAS as they are great and I could have dyno'd) and send it out if I went through them, so I need to do it myself via laptop. So won't be able to do a before hand dyno. I ordered the tablet and flash yesterday and tracking shows it will arrive on Friday.
Hoping everything goes smoothly and will update afterwards.

My local dealership here in Chicago suburbs stopped offering the carbahn tune. I wasn't ready to do it last year but I asked when I was in for an oil change. They told me and I quote "we had too many issues and stopped offering carbahn products". They wouldn't tell me what the issues were.

I've been running their stage 1 for almost a month now. Love it, so smooth and definitely feel the power. Got it with their 20% sale(today is their last day), if i could do it again I would. I was able to flash my 2018 with their tablet without an issue, mine wasn't locked.

Thats good to hear! I'm also glad to hear the flash process went smoothly. I have a 2016 so DME is unlocked. I also wanted to take advantage of the sale so got my order in. Will report back with feedback

I was scared too but it was so seamless and easy. I gave them my VIN and they were able to tell if it was locked or unlocked. I know some 2018's are locked already then you would have to take it to an authorized Carbahn dealer.

My DME is not locked but I still have to pull the file and send to them first. The tablet is out for delivery now so hopefully I will be flashed by tomorrow!

Yes that is how they do it with the tablet and how I did it. They were quick on sending me the tuned file. I believe I got it the next business day if I remember.

I sent them the file last night and they sent it back around 10 am this morning. I didn't have a chance to do the flash until the afternoon, but it went flawlessly. Took less than 30 minutes. Did a couple of pulls on some onramps and offramps. The car is now scary fast while still retaining good control and driveability.
The crew at CarBahn were all awesome with helping me out remotely and answering tons of questions I had. I'm very happy that I went with them. Thanks Blue for your feedback and advice as well.

How many of you guys are running this tune without an upgraded crank hub? I heard from them that an upgraded hub isn’t needed for stage 1. I suspect it is due to less torque and therefore less stress on the engine.

Any problems cutting over from CarBahn to BM3 on the software side?
