NC near me, also has a G82 CSL on the showroom floor unsold. I didn't go up to it in person but I immediately recognize the paint scheme. I didn't bother going in to look.

When NC had their F82 M4 GTS, it took them a year plus to sell it because they were asking for a ridiculous amount of markup (for that time). I think they eventually relented on the markup to move it but I won't be surprised of this happens with this car too.

Well, a two seater with very little frunk space doesn't always work for everybody's life regardless of how awesome the vehicle is.

Thing is, most everyone in this G8x-ban thread has bought a Porsche and I'm sure that fact isn't lost on BMW ...

Because i live in NY and want to drive the car throughout the year.
Most ppl remove the Cup2 for street use.

Agreed, plus I’ve always thought R comp tires like the Cup 2s are terrible street tires for a number of reasons. PS4S etc are plenty good for having fun on the street.

Disagree with that, I think at that level they are comfortable getting just about anything they want (most). Especially the GT3 ADM buyers etc.

I will be in a similar boat in a few years. Nothing in BMW's lineup today(or immediate future) allures me. So the choice will likely come down to an f80 or a 718 GTS 4.0

M2 CS would be lovely, but a 6MT car - sadly, a rare occurrence - is 40 grand more than my CPO F80 was in 2018. cannot get past that.

Missed the boat on E82 M Coupes, too. oh, well, still loving my car to bits and never want to get rid of it.

I have 0 interest in McLarens either. Jay Leno said their customer service is excellent but that doesn’t make me want to buy their cars. It should be expected from a high end brand like McLaren though.
