Are you talking about the suspension or steering? In theory it shouldn't increase wear and tear from switching. Dampers are constantly adapting and the steering is just more "weight".

Agreed. You could theoretically just leave it in comfort and the dampers will still be constantly adjusting to accommodate your driving situation.

If you push the buttons hard enough and enough times I suppose over time they'll start wearing out.. but that's about it
