I daily drive my m3CS and it's in frozen blue with no ppf because I'm returning it at the end of the lease. No point in paying all that money for it to be a depreciating weekend car. I will return this car with 29999 miles at the end of my lease.

Beater is not the right word for most of us. +1 most us care about any car we are driving. Daily commuting is just not much fun in the M3. And traffic for me is not bad thankfully, but its all steady and slow, or steady and up to 10 over the limit best case scenario. But its just steady. And everyone is as slow to react to a light going green as possible. They panic brake before every corner. So little fun to be had on a daily route. I feel guilty sometimes wasting miles in boring traffic. And I wish I was in a different car. But then there are rare moments where the road is open in front of you for a half mile in a safe stretch, or you are at the head of a traffic light or hit a clear on/off ramp. Those little burst of fun and its the right car again. As I said earlier I split my driving roughly 50/50 between the F80 and E38. Both are fun/nice/different.

2016 M4 6spd Vert replacing my 2013 135i DCT Vert as my primary driver. Dont know if I will line up winter wheels for it in time this year, need to get rid of 2 extra sets of 135 wheels as space is the issue not $, I have 3 giant industrial racks full of wheels and no space.
When by myself M4 will get at least 50% of my driving, 35% M5, 15% classic 540. Family time is mostly in the i3 or X5, though the kids beg to go in the other cars, only about 10% of the time is the family in one of my cars.

Now I got Tesla Model 3 Performance, and it's just a better all-around daily driver. So now ///M3 is a garage queen. Make me an offer, and make it your daily driver! a

Yeah, that was my original plan going into 2x M3 ownership.
Yet, I hardly ever drive the ///M3 anymore. And when I do, it feels under-powered, and the interior controls are dated and frustrating to use. Navigation being the worst. I really meant to keep the F80 for a decade, and it has been a great all around car. Until TM3 spoiled it. You should find F80 listed for sale in the September Roundel. a

My daily is my C63s when I’m in Cali and my m4 will now be my daily for the Midwest. I’m bi-weekly between places for work and got tired of rentals so bought something I wanted. Never got the concept of driving a shitty car around for a daily when I have the means to drive something nice.

I will eventually split 50/50 between my new to me 2015 YMB M3 and my 2018 Camaro 1SS 1LE. Although right now its primarily the M3 that I'm enjoying driving, I've only had it for a few weeks

My daily is a 2004 E46 wagon with a manual trans and 307,000 km on the clock. I’ve done a complete brake system refresh, shocks, clutch, CCV, OFHG, pan gasket, valve cover gaskets, and a power steering hose since I picked her up in April. She’s a sweet ride now.
