I am runing the AA mid with the stock rear and so far I am very pleased. I get to maintain the use of the exhaust flaps when I have to tote around a client and the butt dyno tells me there were definite gains with the mid only. Active8 tune is on the way with a set of black Active tips..

I take it that it was a bone stock car with JUST AA mid and rear. NO catless downpipes.

Looks like tune has an advantage

I have bms intakes, else stock with 93 fuel. Should we have some fun!? I'll go to MAP here in MN and run a few dyno pulls after aa cat back install?

Might have to do an over under on my hp outcome...? ??

Is it possible to install the AA mid pipe with ER DP and OEM exhaust without cutting or making any other mods?

You can install our mid pipe with the ER DP with no issues. However, since the OEM exhaust is a single piece (the mid section and muffler are made as one unit), you will have to cut the rear muffler section off and attach our mid pipe via OEM BMW clamps (the same way you would install a BMW Performance muffler).

It's unfortunate they chose to make the original exhaust as just 1 big piece. Kudos to AA for the great pieces though.

I think a lot of people want to hear some good sound clips of your AA mid-pipe with the stock rear muffler (under load / driving) with valves open and closed. Obviously deleting the secondary cats and the X-reso box makes the sound louder but would be nice to gauge how your mid-pipe changes the raspy sound of the stock mid-pipe. Maybe I should be the guinea pig and make some nice vids!

Love this exhaust

Can't go wrong with the full system or just midpipe and downpipes!

There's a good bit of info on this system on the forum. I've been running it since day one. Anything I can help with?

If it's about pricing, he's the man to talk to!

It was definitely loud in the shop, although I can still think of something that's even louder
