BM3 OTS Stage 1 burbles randomly stop if I burble too much

Hey all, so I recently put a stage 1 BM3 OTS tune on my f80 and tuned the burbles to be pretty aggressive(8). I find that if I do a few WOT pulls or let it burble A LOT, my burbles disappear for like 10 seconds afterwards. Is this normal? Is this the tunes way of "protecting" something? Or should my burbles be there no matter what. Thanks

Their is some kid that lives near me who has a F82 M4 with some tune that has his burbles in AK mode 24/7. My god that is SO annoying. And I LOVE burbles! But its one thing to have louder burbles. Its another to be full retard obnoxious with 24/7 AK mode.

Lmao I can attest to the burbles being loud but not ak47 loud. Forgot how many people hate them, they can be obnoxious when I left off the throttle at 7k rpm though

I believe this is a component protection feature of the ECU which switches off burbles if the exhaust gases are too high. The temperature is high due to aggressive burble tuning.

Once the temperature is reduced, the burbles will be back.

I suspect this safety feature can be over-ridden with a custom tune, but I personally don’t see the value in it.

One of the reasons why the OTS tunes are conservative is due to maintaining stock safety protocols.

As others have said, it's a protection feature.

I am completely stock, but I find that the burbles on my ZCP will stop after I get off the highway and am cruising around for the first couple minutes. They then come back.
