Smash reparier: Melbourne
Hi fellas, can anyone recommend a good smash repairer in Melbourne? Unfortunately some a** has reversed into my M4 whilst parked at Albert Park last night, and of course they didn't leave a note either.
I've never had any dealings with a smash repairer in Melbourne as I am from Sydney, so any recommendations would be great.

Second nod for Charlies in Nunawading. Long waiting times but worth it.
Dashcam might be a good idea. I just installed blackvue 900 front and rear with cellink battery - picture quality is very good. |

I have used Zagame Auto Body Repairs. They are located in the massive buildings out towards Tullamarine which was built originally for "The Age" newspaper printing.
I have used them a few times now. They provide excellent service and knowledge in BMW's as most of their staff are ex-BMW melbourne body shop staff. They provide brand new loan cars free of charge. Previously I have had choices of all manner of Audi's, Fiat's, Alfa Romeo's. To date I have used Audi Q5 and Alfa Romeo Giulia. |

I have visited City Auto Group and you are 100% right. They’re only working on exotics. Frank is a great guy and organises regular drives with the exotic car owners. I joined a couple of their track days on my Maserati.
I have some pics of their rather tasty collection of cars inside their entrance hall. |

I had a new bumper replacement by the OEM BMW Bodyshop on Lorimer Street. The work was done in 5 days and was cheaper than I thought.
I know not all insurers can use them though but I paid for the replacement and they cut me a good deal (was less than the excess). It looks showroom new and then I got it Xpel wrapped after a couple weeks of the paint degassing to protect it against other minor parking scuffs and chips. |
