Buying f80 m3, now or wait a bit?
Ok, the year end is coming and I am debating if I should get one or wait a bit and get it in 2019. I have e92 m3 and a x5 to drive interim.
Wait a bit? It will be cheaper next year? Edit: looking for MY16 or 17 used |

I've always had good luck buying cars in Jan + Feb because those months typically have the lowest sales numbers and sales staff are more likely to discount.

Used will always be less expensive in the future. How long do you want to wait?

Year end is always a good time to buy. The prices will always be dropping so it depends. Do you want it now or do you want to save more money?
MY16's will have dropped about 10% more than MY17's, some MY17's are the prices of MY16's it all depends and is relative. I bought my MY17 for the price of a MY16 (with more options) because the dealer wanted to move the unit (had it for almost 3 months). If you want to come in after the majority of the depreciation has occurred that's after the 3 year mark so sometime in 2019 for MY16. I don't think there's that much to gain waiting another 6 months to be honest. |
