Eventuri Vs MSR
Which performs better? They both look great and sound great. Would be really good to know if ANYONE actually has either of these?
MSR wins races and obviously does increase power and sounds amazing. The Eventuri is an interesting concept and according to their dyno graphs also produces a Delta. Put this here as I never wanted to crash the Arma thread, and some may not have seen the Eventuri. So many on that thread saying CAI produce Zero gains. I have no dog in this fight. I am just considering getting either of these two. MSR hiding behind the Kidneys.

I think out of all of them, these two have the best chance of producing power.

They also come in red or blue kevlar weave which looks stunning. Out of the 2, that would be my vote |

Cool, be sure and cast it up the top. The Red one is very striking.

We will have an independent dyno of the Eventuri when they come in from the UK. I have seen samples of the new intake in person and they have the best quality on the market hands down.
US pricing- Black Carbon $2,250.00 Full Colored Kevlar = $3,000.00

Checking now to see when the intake will be in. We are going to use AMS's dyno jet for the testing.

That is real world power. Interested to see if EVENTURI also delivers. BMS - HAI (built to a price) ARMA - poor fitment Dinan - Nice. Like the round Pipe, boxes are a little small. (Funky Branding) AWE - Surprising done very well, I like it. (great middle of the road) GruppeM - Beautiful, great fit, a little conservative, don't love flat pipe. Not full box. EVenturi - Outstanding design and beauty. But Does it perform? MSR - Simple, functional and EFFECTIVE. Most sound.

Looking forward to independent dynos but these two are the mythical unicorns of the S55 platform if they can make power. I for one hope they do because $3000 for an intake is criminal.

Dont think we will see any significant increase with either one, they do look great though.

I understand BMS built something to keep the masses happy. And it makes no power. No surprise there, its a Hot Air Intake. Sucking hot engine air in, vs Dinan being a sealed box. Eventuri, (I don't know yet.) I have concerns that the opening is in the engine bay, but at least it has ducting funneling cold air at it. MSR the filters are out front in the Cold air. So common sense says it is the only true Cold air intake. And it seems to perform. It doesn't surprise me that one sitting out in the cold air seems to perform, and one sucking in Hot air doesn't. Where has common sense gone? I know i am different, but I don't want something that is cheap, I want something that works. If Eventuri works, I will get it. I have no dog in this fight. I live in a different country to both Eventuri and MSR. I want the one that performs the best. In absence of Eventuri proof, MSR is in front at present. That may change when Nate chimes in with results. I look forward to tests and hearing from people that actually have it. Just like I have listened to those that have the MSR.

How many superchargers can I get for the BBS-F1R's I am considering? How many for the Ohlins Suspension at $11K USD? Man I am going to be up to my armpits in all these super chargers I don't need. You don't get it. I love spending money on my car. Its a hobby/Illness. I couldn't care less how many things I could get for other cars. Its faulty logic. I included the , "I don't pay M tax for you." So that this thread could be about which is the superior CAI. Not how cheap we could get something else.

As it stands now there are 8 for Eventuri and 8 that don't believe that CAI makes any power.
That is the purpose I want this thread to be about. Lets get some proof which one Does or Doesn't make Power. I have to admit I was 70% sold on the MSR. But all day, the pics of the Eventuri have been wearing me down. Its just so pretty. If it produces power, I will have to have it. I'm 50/50 at present. Some power figures or sound clips of eventuri could get me over the line.
