I am thinking of doing a CS set up for the wheels, looking at 10 J x 20-inch for the rear and 9 J x 19 inch for the front or something similar to that, any recommendation on the tires for summer day driving, probably won't track it.

Also, any recommendations for break set up? I have very limited knowledge in that area.

Very true, I got the ZUP because it was the best deal I could have found at this time, it was a store demo with 70KM on it with a heavy discount.

I ordered a CS before but thought I'd have more options for customization with this ZUP and also wasn't extremely digging that two tone leather seats.....

Best street performance tire would be Michelin PS 4s

If you don't track your car, have budget for BBK and still can make changes on your order, get the CCB.

LOL first thing you should change is the DCT....6MT or bust.

All jokes aside, looking forward to seeing your build once it's completed!

Are you asking if the Big Brake Kit clears the Vorsteiner wheels? If so, that depends on the size and wheel spec. I know that a few of their 19's don't.

If your asking if you should choose between BBK versus the Vorsteiner wheels, ya, I would do BBK.

Also, since you are upgrading your headlights. Would you be interested in selling your current stock headlights?....Or is the plan to upgrade off your existing?

Any reason why you're choosing to remove MPE and put on Eisenmann?

BTW I have the Thinkware F800 as well. Pretty good quality, but it's just a bit tricky to get the aim right.

I have Thinkware F800 on my X1 right now, best camera in my opinion. I got mine through blackboxmycar.ca and my local BMW dealership helped me with the installation. To me, it's like an additional car insurance, you hope not to use it, but it's GREAT to have when you do need it.

As for Eisenmann vs MPE, I personally think Eisenmann sounds better, but that could just be me.

I have Eisenmann but now mated to AA Midpipe. I would encourage you to go this route.

Also why V-FF 103? There are better, lighter, stronger wheels that are affordable as well. I see you are already spending a quite a bit on the customizing so even getting a more costly set like BBS FiR or HREs would be worth it. If you still want to stick with VFF consider the 107.

Hey there,

Thanks for the suggestion, will for sure look into the AA midpipe, any sound clips or video for your car?

As for rims, it isn't set in stone for V-FF 103, still looking to see what's the best option.

20 inch wheels Vs 19 Inch

I have just purchased a M3 Competition, it obviously has the 20 inch wheels!
I find the cars suspension very hard even in the softest setting, has anyone changed these to the 19 inch and noticed a substantial difference?

Kind Regards

Tim

Hey Tim:

I'm thinking of doing 19's up front and 20's at the back. Will let you know my feedback once I have the car.

Cheers
