CBC is a GREAT way to reduce the risk of a slipped hub... inexpensive, easy to install, proven. Easy recommendation for anyone with an S55.

We are currently out, more on the way to us very soon and will be able to fulfill all orders, with an even bigger amount ordered so we can keep 'em in stock.

I got mine done in total 370 canadian dollars which is about 280 american dollars.

Parts + labor.

My mechanics only do M cars, and they do like 4-5 crankhubs every couple weeks so ya they know how to rail it off quick.

Charged me 140 usd for labor.

If it's a simple re-time and no major broken parts, I don't think the dealer would have any problems with it but definitely YMMV.
Of course! If it's any real damage, he is on his own

Go to RMP Motors.

Rocco and his brother rail off Crank hub fixed all day.

For me i was charged 200 dollars Canadian for install. Granted i have been going there for a little while but they are very reasonable.

Reduces the risk of slipping - agreed, but not 100%.

Has anyone with stock turbos + tune had a failure with the CBC ?

Yes, there have been a few cases that I've been familiar with, which is one of the reasons I describe CBC + Splinelock as the complete solution. That said, of the spins I've seen, most spins were on vehicles with no CBC.
