It shouldnt because the exhaust should be supported by rubber mounts which should dampen all the vibrations unless the exhaust is rubbing on something.

Interesting.

I have VRSF downpipes on and nothing is rubbing, but i feel the annoying vibration through the car.

I ordered the active auto downpipes with flex joints and bracket as i heard that can help with vibrations

This makes sense.

I just bought Active Auto with the flex joints and the bracket. Do you think this will be the difference in vibrations? That's the ONLY thing i hate with the VRSF.
I had a set of AA ones with flex when i had my 15' M4, no vibrations

That's what i'm getting installed today. Going to pray there are no vibrations at all.

Did yours have the bracket on the long pipe as well?

Why did you switch? I just went from VRSF to the new AA design. Fixed like 90% of my vibrations. It might feel a little slower than the VRSF downpipes, but then again, it's probably in my head.

I also went from VRSF to Akrapovic. Was not happy with the fitment on VRSF especially at the top of the downpipe/midpipe flange connection. This caused a subtle vibration/rattle and may even have eventually created a leak. Swapped to Akra and fitment is OEM perfect. Zero rattle and no issues.

VRSF are a great budget option for what they are but they are far from perfect as many claim on here. In my experience the flex section allows for a much nicer fitment and it's comforting to know the connections are not under any additional stresses caused by lack of flex sections

yeah akra dp's fitment is just 100% oem, no heat shield bending, O2 bungs are where they need to be so everything falls in place like factory
