Rear seat cover - kids/dogs

What covers have you guys used to keep the rear seats clean, I’m in the process of buying a 2018 M3 that has 2500 miles with SS interior and I want to buy a car seat cover to keep the rears clean.

This fits the rear seat perfectly. Even the middle seat belt can be used. I use the middle seat belt for dog seat belt tether. It extends enough for the furball to move around in the back seat easily but locks immediately if you pull suddenly.

Bought this recently for my wife's truck. I usually use a real.nice orvis brand seat cover. I was so impressed with it..I took it for my myself and gave her the orvis one.

I like how it comes up in the sides and protects the leather door cards. The strap in the picture that attaches above the door is optional and not neeeded

Thanks for the replies, I wonder how the 2nd one will work with a car seat, may have to cut a couple holes for the anchor?

Are the side flaps just up and you lift your dog over them or how does that work? I like the idea of having it go all around and protect the doors as well

I have one that looks like the 2nd one I got from Costco. We use that in the SUV. The sides depends on hooking to the hand grips. If you have a small dog, you can probably get to him/her with the strap up. Else you will need to remove it each time to get to the dog. I have to take mine off each time coz the furball loves sitting in the car so much he refuses to leave! It does have openings for the seatbelt clip but the side flap blocks the side seat belts from coming in depending on the model. The one from Costco has a zipper that you can take out thread the seat belt through then zip up again but leaves a gap at the bottom. If you want to put a child seat in there, you'll need to cut holes for the tether.

Thanks for the info! Going to go ahead and give that #2 one a try, looks like it could work well at keeping my interior as clean as possible

Good luck! When I get a break in the rain, I'll go out and take some pics of the 2nd one in the SUV to give you an idea how it looks like.

The M3 is in the garage and too dark to take pics to show how it looks but I guarantee the fit is excellent. Only the seat belt holes have hair going through so I wrap the underneath of the holes with an old microfiber cloth to catch the hair falling through the gap.

The bottom opens up in various spots for seat belts and anchors.

The side flaps have a zipper and can be folded down or under if you choose not to use them. I unzip. Dogs jump in ..then I zip it up.

^^ I have one like that, won't protect against the kiddo once they throw things or push their bottle over the edge of the car seat, you'll see what I'm saying in a few months. Congrats! We have a 2 yr old daughter, they are tons of fun (and work)

I have this same one in all of my cars. Works great. The kids make more of a mess than the dogs.

Perfect timing for this discussion!
I recently picked up a mint 2018 F80 and did some interior detailing (leather condition, etc) over the weekend. The rear seat is so perfect right now, so it got me thinking how to keep it that way.
I used a seat protector (maybe Eddie Bauer brand?) on my last F80. I even put cloth placements under that. It worked pretty good but not 100%. My kids are 9 and 6 so just one side left to manage. I will check out these recommendations. Thanks.

These are the pics I promised.
The first is how the sides are held up. Essentially a strap going up to the handles to hang the sides up.

The seatbelt you can loop through the zipper opening.

FYI got this "Vailge" back sear cover, cut a couple slits for my 2 year old's car seat and it's working great! Highly recommend it for children/dogs
