Does the F8x shifter have a shorter throw than the F3x?
it's fading a bit after a couple of weeks with the new car, but i distinctly remember when switching that the shifter felt shorter and definitely a lot crisper than on my '16 f30.
is it a shorter throw, or am i nuts?

I went from a '16 340i ZMP 6MT to a '18 M3 ZCP 6MT but I had a huge 8 week gap between cars.... The gear box feels more crisp, somewhat snappier. The gears just enter the gates nicer if that makes any sense. Throws are only a tiny bit shorter on the M3.

Throws are shorter and crisper than my e92 and much better but still not as good as having a SSK. I feel the car should have come with a SSK from factory and better shift knob.

When direct from the F30, feels a little better but I thought the F30 had a great 6 MT.
