The question is....do you want to hear engine/exhaust sounds (fake) ALL the time even when you are at 10% throttle or do you only want to hear it when you really get on it? If its the latter then you want ASD OFF. Its as simple as that.
I coded it off and couldn't be happier. Now if only I could code off those stupid artificial burbles lol.....

I have the flap control module and have it set to turn the asd on when the flaps are open, asd off when closed.
I sometimes like keeping the flaps closed asd off and windows down when on it. You hear all sorts of engine and turbo noises when pushing hard. Also the car is more sneaky that way. |

Had ASD on for a couple years but hated the 'inconsistency' of the engine noise....too artificial...had it coded off when catless DP and MPE were put on...effing amazing now and just in time for window-down fall weather
