That`s because the ZCP Exhaust is slightly different than the non ZCP - as far as i know, it`s about the middle Muffler and some Holes in the End Muffler.
So, you could swap the to a ZCP Exhaust, then you also get the Black Exhaust- Tips!

Hi, I’ll be going in for a dealer visit soon. Is the correct procedure to flash to stock tune and relock the dme to avoid detection?

I’ve heard driving 100 miles was necessary to clear the dme lock history. Much appreciated!!

Now there is ACN (arizona, california, nevada) maps?

Does this mean that any map NOT listed with ACN might not be ok to run?

So is there a CS ACN map? Is the CS map as safe as the new ACN maps?

That kind of alarms me. What would present these maps from being released if all we see are good dynos and logs on the normal maps now?

Did someone go BOOM?

nothing to worry about except, death to tires we pushed the ACN versions of the maps out a few weeks back as we promised to accommodate some guys with really poor 91 octane that's barely 91. You just have more OTS map choices for 91 octane now.

CS map is just an OEM map. BMW's made a tune based on minimum 91 octane (95RON) required.

Wow, BM3 is always evolving. Have you ever thought about temp controlled power/boost? Last week we got down in the 30's. I had changed the mid pipe and was testing the sound. The car would break traction in 1,2, and 3rd with just a little bit of throttle.

Now the temps are back up to the 60's and the traction is much better. Temp controlled boost would be pretty neat.

It has this feature already! It's the vertical pedal on the right. You modulate the action by using your right foot. Works every time.

Any hope for ACN version for S2 N55?

Where would have one gotten this information if they weren't on the forums? I feel like descriptors on the various OTS would help as well. I saw ACN and had no idea what it was until now.

Thank you.

Why not just make whatever 91 map you offer safe for all 91 gas?

So is a CS OR CS+ map safer than a stg1 ACN?

If we did that then everyone might as well the 91 ACN map regardless of how great your octane might be

In some parts of the World there's just no decent 91 and no E85 at the pumps to conveniently spike octane a bit with ethanol. ACN91 maps are just a special breed made for very poor 91 octane (advertised as 91 at gas stations but its really more like 89-90) and separate maps to deal with that made most sense to us.

CS map is OEM and is less aggressive than the CS+. Both are fine on your average 91 octane.

FWIW, I ran Stage 2 91 AGG on ACN91 fuel for at least 1,000 miles with zero issues. My car is back on this map as it hibernates through freezing California winter temps...

Noob question. I have Charge Pipes, OEM DP, Fabspeed X pipe (deletes secondary cats) & MPE.
Currently running BM3 Stage 1 93.

Can I run Stage 2 93 with my current set up? Pros or cons?

Thank you

They recommend downpipes for quicker response and some more midrange gains but other than that stock S55 downpipes are not that restrictive much like the intake and exhaust too.

Cool. So it is “safe” to run it with my set up to some extend. Thank you for your input.

Backpressure = no bueno for the turbos

The point of having catless DPs and catless midpipe is to decrease backpressure, thereby allowing the turbos to breathe better.

More exhaust airflow = quicker spool = more power

So yes, you can run a high boost (22+ psi) tune with factory exhaust components, but all you're doing is shortening the lifespan of the turbos.

Here's a quick read on how this all works: http://www.stavtech.co.uk/home/exhau...nes-never-good

proTUNING Freaks I'm looking for only the modest GTS tune with 40 or so Hp gain/ whatever the added torque is (hopefully not a lot) on crap 91 octane.

So do I have this right..... I go to the site and pay only $595 for my BM3 GTS tune and I have access to only this tune and can customize it at any time as long as it's in the GTS tune options menu.

If I also wanted the ZCP tune or stage 1 I would pay another $595, but if I just wanted to add exhaust burbles in efficient with my GTS tune it would be free (don't know if that's actually an option).

Thanks

No, when you pay $595, you get all the regular off the shelf maps (ZCP, CS, CS+, and GTS) for free, which you can customize for different burble options. You also get one free off the shelf stage map (stage 1 and 2, various fuel and octane ratings) which you can also customize for different burble options.

If you wanted to add burbles in efficient, you would have to customize the map manually which can still be done for free.
