I'm told our car is approved for LRG and is an August production

Possibly, but that's really throwing the baby out with the bath water. The hands-free door unlocking is what Comfort Access was traditionally, and that would not be affected by the diffuser.

I agree. I am not happy they took it away.

Just speculation on my part here. BMW thinking how can we reduce the weight of the CS without increasing cost? Answer: let's get rid of comfort access, it reduces weight AND reduces cost and heck, half of isn't working anyhow.

Any official word on whether this car (or the M4 CS) is purchase only or can be leased? My dealer said no leasing on the M3 CS as per their BMW rep, no euro on it either (as validated already by others) but unclear on the M4 CS

If anyone is looking for an M3 CS allocation, PM me. I know of a dealer that has one available.

There was no discussion of this in the memo my CA received regarding leasing/purchase. It did very clearly say no ED however.

Then why does the pricing guide have an Euro Delivery pricing at $93,340 USD ?

I think this is yet again dealers that are either misinformed or greedy.

I'm looking at the memo and it says "Due to the Special Order nature of this vehicle European Delivery is not available for this model."

Right now, nothing. They are barely selling at MSRP.

Just to clarify, are you saying that I should be able to order one at msrp? If so could you post or pm dealer info? Thank you

You know, I have the CF diffuser on my ZCP, and it will randomly work...but not because I have tried to engage it. Random I know, but always makes me laugh when this happens (aka, if I am cleaning the exhaust tips or wiping the bumper down after a wash).

I was replying to a fellow Canadian here. I know from my dealer that they have two allocations for the M3CS that they HAD to order without any customer orders. The sales manger is worried that they might be stuck with them due to the high asking price (and the M3CS are relatively less pricey in Canada than they are in the US). So if one walks into a Canadian dealer today. there is a pretty good chance they can get an M3CS at MSRP or lower.

Good info. Honestly if anyone is interested in this car. Just wait until dealers have 1 or 2 in their inventory. There are still unsold GTS on lots, which have substantial discounts. The dealers will surely be looking to give discounts on the CS.

For those of you with production numbers, have you been able to add it to the BMW website for tracking or get status from the 800 number?

I can't add mine on the site and when I call for status, the system immediately transfers me (I haven't stayed on to ask for status from a rep).

You need to read sticky threads like this one BIMMERPOST Guide to Ordering and Tracking your BMW https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1181156 thoroughly.

You WILL NOT be able to track your car online until AFTER it goes into production (150), which yours probably hasn't yet, and even then the website is delayed a few days. Keep calling BMW Genius or your dealer until that happens. The Genius number will always be the most accurate status of your production.

I appreciate your reply, but I'm very well aware of that thread and you'll see I've participated in it regularly when you read it thoroughly.

Tracking/status is available long before status 150, otherwise you wouldn't know when cars are scheduled for production.

That information is not available online before production. It is available on the phone with Genius, just like I said until it goes into production then it is available online. I don't see where the disagreement is here. Call 1-844-4GENIUS and they will tell you where you are at in pre-production. The multiple cars we have seen ordered and that we've ordered never showed on the online mybmw system until after it went into production (150).

I clearly said that you will not be able to track online until after production begins, not that you are unable to check status at all. Just trying to answer your question directly. Oo well, hope the above helps. If not, meh.
