FL DD is a 2010 Lexus RX350. NY DD is a 2007 335xi with 69K miles. Have had it exactly a year and was my first BMW.

M3 is NOT an expensive or delicate car. It can take it.
We all don't have GT3s. To me, it IS an expensive car.

My daily is an i3 REx and it is NOT an expensive car.

Yea mine is an expensive DD. Weekends are usually for family outings with the dog so the weekend car ends up being the beater car. If I saved the M3 for weekends I'd never drive it the what's the point of paying so much for it. Work sucks so why not enjoy the commute. My rationale anyway.

I split my commute just for the carpool sticker. 2-3 days in the i3, 2-3 days in the M3. I have an 80 mile commute, so even gas saved is significant enough to split the duties.

Weekends are like you, kids, outings, dogs, camping etc are in our Subaru Forester or i3 depending on the occasion. M3 is for nice dinners, morning canyon runs, date night etc.

Get out of your elitist bubble and you will see that spending $75K on a car is only be a dream to 95% of the gen pop

I catch a train to work so the M3 just does gym and coffee runs on the days I work from home and any excuse I get on the weekends.

My wife's X5 is the family wagon for kid hauling, groceries and most family trips

I'm rocking a 2005 Silverado w/197k miles. Got the M3 and ZR1. However, the Silverado is going bye-bye. M3 will become the daily.

This all the way. M3 is the DD and the beater. Agree that it's a well built car and can take it.

Also, if I didn't drive it every day, even if only to the train station, I would only be able to enjoy it once a week (which is not enough).

One of those rolled thru my hood this week in Cardinal Red Metallic and have to say it had real presence. Really caught my eye, beautiful car.

The M is my dd but consider it to be my 4 seat beast

I have a Jaguar F type R awd that I save for weekends.I only use the M4 daily because it has more of a trunk and it has backseats.Even though the Jag was way more expensive I would use either car as a daily, that’s why I bought them .A 2 seater car is only possible for me because I have the M.I try to rotate them so I put miles on both.
Regardless of price I would value any dd and keep it in the excellent condition as it’s gets me to work.

Toyota Tacoma LWB Crew Cab 4X4. Nice truck, extremely useful, lives outside. Added benefit: after I've been driving it for two or three days then get in the F82 I always say "holy smokes" right after it's warm enough to use some throttle. This happens pretty much every time.
