Why not purchase the cross drilled stock front/rear rotors/pads from M2C and get rid of CCB rotors/pads. I believe that set up is the M performance brake package from BMW, utilizing our 6/4 piston gold calipers. Wouldn't that be more cost effective or am I wrong?

thx Wanted_M, i may consider the rotors from M2C (and some performance pads and stainless steel brake lines) when it's time to replace my ceramic rotors (probably next yr).

Road damage will not be covered under warranty. According to the BMW CCB maintenance documents, that rotor likely will need to be replaced.

Ouch, that sucks. It definitely falls under and fails the criteria for splitting of outer edges for the friction ring edge sizes. Unfortunately, the rotor needs replacement and probably pad too.
Max. permissible width/depth = 2 mm
Max. permissible length = 10 mm
