IMO the current design is the best. They never should have changed the 3 series either. I'll keep my 2011 a few more years then I'm out of the M3 market(

That was the best feature of the F11 I drove while I was in Germany. So what if it adds 5kg (if that)? To me that's absolutely worth it. While they are there, I hope LED headlights will also be an option

F32 is 53 mm longer than E92 (4.641 mm vs. 4.588 mm), has a 50 mm longer wheelbase (2.810 mm vs. 2.760 mm), is 33 mm lower (1.362 mm vs. 1.395 mm). M4 F82 weighs >100 kg less than M3 E92, has >100 Nm more. N-Ring time is in for 7:40-7:50 min. What is there to complain about? For sound there'll be Akrapovic, no M3 CSL E46, but anyway.

This is one of the best designs to come out of BMW for a while now. Simple and elegant yet sporty design without any weird angles. Only if they could fix the damn hood line it would be perfect.

Is it me or does it feel over designed?
I'll have to see the final production version live but from what I've seen in pictures so far, it seems over designed. What I mean by that is there's so many elements trying to be modern, respecting the past, borrowed from other german brands, etc. It's like the new Superman Logo for the upcoming movie
Design for the sake of design instead of a clean cohesive approach. My .02 |

I'm sure the true 4 and M4 will not be as wild as we think (and many are hoping), and I'm glad. |

it wont be as wild as we think. its a concept, they added extra modern things to it besides the shape of the body to make it more futuristic and flashy for show. people on the forums fail to see this and havent taken the time out to look at the spy photos that show the actual car minus the front and rear end. there are no 20 inch flashy wheels. no weird shaped door handle. no elegant mirrors...

Heres another addition to my set of renders showing the wheels and the big brakes and the side fender design.

nice new render on the fender! I really hope that the side gill isn't 100% identical to the 1M. I love how it is incorporated into the body line one the M5 and current M3's. |

That's cool if its similar, I'm just hoping its worked into the body of the fender better than it is on the 1M.
And damn you for the teaser! Lol you definitely have every right to be proud of your work. |

Please remember that the 4 series is still officially a concept car albeit with around 10% of actual differences from the series production model.
The 2er concept will showcase a similar result but you will be surprised as what will arrive for production from the concept itself in an effort to fully establish the 4er as a more sportier and distinguished car than before. The M4 features that pronounced scoop before the wheel arch because it still has to accommodate the air breather which is standard on the series model to provide an important function. The M4's will be large r than the series car , though not just for cosmetic but functional purpose also.

You know it's fake because its not the M shift knob. Come on the details in an M are everything.
Besides that amazing job with the render. Pictures saved and are my current wallpaper. |
