Bilstein B16 or KW DDC
So I have a hookup for both of them, only issue is that they have no time table for getting the KW DDC. Should I wait for it to come in stock or pick up the bilsteins? Will probably get a heat exchanger as well to offset the proce difference if thats the case. Anyone have experience with both? Or is the KW’s just wayyyy better?

Bilstein is also high quality; I'd choose the option without a wait time.

I’m also in the market for a new suspension setup. I think your inquiry is a bit too ambiguous, considering that Bilstein B16 and KW DDC’s are quite different setups. What they share in common is EDC compatibility, but that’s about it.
Outside of that, I believe the Bilsteins use linear springs whereas the DDC’s use progressive springs, at least for the fronts. The Bilstein generally ride harsher, but may be more capable for track use, whereas the DDC’s are considering by many to be more streetable while still sufficient for occasional track use. Lastly, if you are considering the Bilsteins, you may wish to consider the new Evolve-Bilstein struts (which retain EDC Compatibility) paired with MSS springs. According to Imran, those are softer in comfort than the B16, and stiffer in sport plus than the B16s. That’s what I’m currently torn between…those or the DDC’s

So, is it just the spring rate that makes them ride so different?
Everything I’ve ever heard is that the DDC’s are much more compliant.

Evolve x Bilstein B6 damptronic shocks + MSS HAS. Feels about the same as stock, just a tad bumpier as expected. Very tolerable like stock and I'm coming from a base M4. I'd imagine if it was a Competition model upgrading to this, it would be less of a difference in terms of ride comfort.

Can you please expand on how you generally use your car…daily? Weekend? Occasional or frequent track use? Also, what were the main differences you felt and why you suggest DDC? Thanks!!!
