This is on MSS.

Traditional springs sit lower than this. I will swap them out for some H&R for some pictures.

Intrax Springs 25mm all round with our dampers. Something like H&R 30mm/20mm would provide a nice even drop on these.

Evolve Bilstein B6 with H&R springs 30mm front / 20mm rear. Pretty even ride height as expected.

I love the stance of the car. Perfect height and that's how I'd love to see my car sitting. Someday. lol

Thanks for posting these, Imran. This is helpful.

With Eibach springs v1 or v2, is the drop exactly the same as when paired with the original Bilstein b6 damptronics?

If you have pics of the Evolve version paired with Eibach that would be much appreciated.

Yes it would be.

I don't have any pictures fitted with Eibach springs but the pictures with the the H&R will give you a good indication +- the differences between the two with their claimed lowering.

That looks great, but let's be honest, that is not "even ride height". The car is raked forward noticeably. If a car were lowered to be even, the front wheel gap is always larger than the rear wheel gap because of how the wheel wells are designed on these cars. When you equalize front and rear wheel gap, the car is raked forward noticeably. Again, this looks great, but Im sure it impacts handling to some degree w/ more weight shifted forward.

Look at the intrax picture. That car has evenly lowered springs at all 4 corners and the rear wheel well sits lower than the front, BUT look at the bottom of the car and you will see that the car still has a forward rake (gap is less in front than the gap is less in the rear when you look at the side skirts to ground gap).

Order placed...will share impressions

I've been waiting on "standard" damptronic B6 shocks for nearly a year and Bilstein is now saying they may not be available until end of year. As a result, I decided to take the plunge on the Evolve version of the B6. I'll post my impressions once I get them installed. They'll be paired with Eibach V1s.

This is the route I am considering. Please report back after you've driven on the setup a bit.

I second this. I def am eager to see customer reviews. Please also let us know what you're coming from when you review…stock? Lowering springs? Etc, as well as how the roads are in your area.

Thank you!

This.
Are you guys planning on developing a version that works with height adjustable springs? A lot of people in the community here already have MP or KW HAS.

They work with MSS HAS.

Will not work with KW /MP due to the way the perch has to be modified so we don't have plans at the moment.

Are those the ones you said don't sit as low as some would like in the front, or you were you talking about non-HAS MSS?

MSS is only in HAS option.

Post 24 shows the picture. Thats the lowest the MSS will go with the Evolve/Bilstein B6.

Are these shocks still raising up the ride height when paired with the same springs? I read that the ride height, especially the front with these shocks were noticeably higher.

Yes around 5mm. I've put pictures up with 3 sets of different springs to give you an idea.

Got the Evolve's Bilstein B6 Damptronic on order. Going to swap out KW HAS soon. Whatever reason the KW HAS @ highest setting is dropping way too much while I'm running 19s (265/35/19). Hopefully pairing with the MSS HAS will solve my issues.

After a few delays for various reasons, I now have the Evolve Bilstein B6 shocks installed. They are paired with Eibach V1 and I'm also running Vorshlag camber plates up front (v2?).

Note that I have no basis of comparison regarding the standard B6 vs the Evolve B6, so I can only provide perspective as compared to stock shocks that had 78k miles on them paired with the Eibach V1 springs.

The car does sit a little higher. I do expect that to subside once the shocks have some miles on them.

General comment which applies to all EDC modes: the shocks are definitely firmer but not at all harsh. Rebound is MASSIVELY improved. The car feels much more settled and connected now.

Comfort mode: smooths out the bumps pretty well. Is firmer than stock but I found the stock shocks to be bouncy unless the car was fully loaded (family of four plus luggage). The real test will be whether my wife notices. Comfort to me feels a smidge more compliant than Sport on the stock shocks, but better settled and with no rebound. Honestly, I could now see myself driving in Comfort most of the time now. I hated Comfort mode before and now it's very nice.

Sport mode: not a lot to say beyond my general comment above. Rides pretty flat, no harshness, a bit firmer than stock, very well planted.

Sport+: TBD. (Note: this is not a "I don't like it but I just don't want to say it." This is truly a "I need more miles on some different roads before forming an opinion.") Definitely pretty firm but that's what I expected. Only drove in Sport+ for a couple minutes today and I can easily say that I prefer it over the stock shocks.

Hope this helps. I'll try to grab a picture tomorrow so folks can see the ride height with Eibachs.
